 Sonakshi
Sinha is the daughter of an actor/ politician Shatrughan Sinha,
a close friend of Rajinikanth. She was the lead heroine in
Prabhu Deva’s colossal hit Rowdy Rathore (remake of Tamil hit
Siruthai) that rocked Bollywood box office recently. The film
was declared a hit just within few days of release, registering
95-100 % occupancy in single screens.
Prabhu is now choreographing Sonakshi for an upcoming flick
titled Oh My God. This one is produced by Akshay Kumar (hero of
Prabhu’s Rowdy Rathore). The film as a song named ‘Go Go Govinda’,
a special Gokulashtami number that required a lot of energy to
capture the festive mood.
Though Prabhu did rehearse with his heroine
initially he wasn’t satisfied with the results. Out of thin air
this brilliant idea struck him, of getting Sonakshi drunk,
incognizant. We are told that the set boy was asked to give the
heroine a glass of bhang(a cheap intoxicant made from the buds
of female cannabis plant) and when asked she was told it was
just ‘thandai’ to refresh herself a bit.
The dance that followed was Sonakshi delivering a jaw dropping
performance, totally out of control and exactly what Prabhu
wanted from her. Later she did find out that her drink was mixed
with bhang. However she wasn’t mad at Prabhu and felt the
blissful intoxicant helped her loosen a bit and deliver under
influence. Well now we know Prabhu’s secret to those hip
