 Last Wednesday
was a bad day for actress Sana Khan! The actress was
shell-shocked to read reports about her alleged arrest by
Bengaluru police on prostitution charges, along with a group of
girls.
When the name ‘Sana Khan’ was mentioned, the media immediately
jumped to the conclusion that it was the popular Tamil and
Telugu actress and the story went viral on the internet.
Some even went ahead and reported that while normally only
B-grade artistes indulged in these sex-rackets, this is the
first time that a well-known actress who has worked with biggies
like Simbu (Silambattam), Bharath (Thambikku Indha Ooru) and
Nagarjuna (Payanam), has been picked up by the police.
Sana, who was in Mumbai, was fretting and
fuming when she got to know about the report through her common
friends.
However, the Bengaluru-based police inspector who conducted the
raid cleared the air. “We booked a Bollywood junior artiste with
the same name and the not the T’town or Kollywood actress Sana
Khan,” he clarified.
We hear that the Mr. Nookayya star is seriously considering
initiating legal proceedings against the websites and newspapers
that carried the news along with her picture. |
