Ambika, one of the talented and beautiful actresses of the yesteryears was born on 6th November 1962 in Kerala. She has a sister Radha who was also a famous actress. She started her career with the Malayalam movie Mamangam in 1979. The once-popular heroine of South Indian film industry was introduced by director Bhagyaraj in his movie Andha 7 Natgal. 

The film took her to a resounding success and made her the darling the audience.
