AL Vijay's new film with Vikram Anushka and Amala Paul was originally titled as Deiva Magan. But the title right was with Sivaji Productions who were sentimental about it.

Deiva Magan is one of Sivaji Ganesan's all-time super hits. Sivaji Production have plan to make a film with same title, which will be the launch pad of Prabhu's son Vikram. So they were not willing to give the title to producer Mohan Natarajan for his Chiyaan Vikram film.

AL Vijay and Vikram then titled it Pitha, which again went into trouble as the same title was registered by another producer for a film with newcomers.

Now the latest we hear is that producer Mohan Natarajan has registered a new title- Deiva Thirumagan. It's a catchy title and people who know the story of the film say its apt to the plotline and has terrific title value.
