Popular comedian Vivek plays a prominent role in Ithanai Naalai Engirunthai, directed by R Balu and produced by Congress leader ‘Ice House’ Thiyagu.

The film features television anchor Ananda Kannan in the lead role. Newcomer Manochitra, Sujibala play female lead. Vivek plays a prominent character in the movie. ‘Ice House’ Thiyagu plays a cameo role  in it.

K Balu, who directed movies like Kalamellam Kadhal Vaazhga, Unnudan and Anbae Un Vasam, promises all fun and action in the film. ‘It is a romantic entertainer that would appease people of all age-groups’, he says, The highlight of the movie is a song Jallilo Gymkhana, Dolilo Dolkhana set to tunes by Dheena and penned by Na Muthukumar.
