June R Movie Preview: Revati S. Verma is here with her first feature film, June R. The story is based on a real incident from Revati's life. It focuses on the mother-daughter relationship.

It has a brilliant star cast in Saritha, Khushboo and Jyothika. Saritha plays a woman who is tortured by her son. Her son is basically interested only in her money.

She meets Jyothika. Both develop a mother-daughter like relationship. Jyothika plays the role of a girl next door. Her character is that of a simple girl who loves rain.

Khushboo plays Jyothika's friend who is a lawyer by profession.She portrays a confident and an independent woman. A top hero makes a guest appearance in the film. However, the name has not been revealed so as to keep his name suspense.

The film is produced by A Ansai and also has Manivannan and Santhanam in the cast. Music director of Malayalam films, Sharat, composes the music.

With shooting at Chennai and Pondicherry, the film is scheduled to hit theatres in September.
