Muni is a film which had Lawrence, Raj Kiran and Vedhika in the cast. Now Lawrence Raghavendra is directing Part 2 of this film titled Kanchana. Lawrence while speaking about this film said,” I have donned the role that is sacred of darkness in Part 1. In this film also I am donning the same role.

Kovai Sarala is donning the role of my mother. Anushka and Lakshmi Rai are the heroines of this film. In the first part Raj Kiran’s spirit enters me and seeks revenge. But in this film there will no spirit of Raj Kiran. In fact , except few characters the script will be new.

Anushka is donning an important role in this film. What role she is donning is suspense. The shooting of this film took place for 25 days in Chennai. The shooting will take place in Hyderabad for 20 days.”
