‘Srisiva Selvanayagi Amman movies’ production company launches the film “Kanden”. The movie is said be a product of famous assistants. The film is directed by first-timer A C Mukil. He has worked as an assistant with famous directors like Bakhyaraj, Pandiyarajan and Prabhu Deva.

The movie has Bhagyaraj’s son Santhanu in the lead. Rashmi Goutham plays his lady love. The cinematographer of the movie is Prasad D Mishal. He is again an assistant of a famous cinematographer of present days, Nirav Shah.

Santhanu, who is waiting for the releases of “Siddu +2” and “Aayiram Vilaku”, feels that the story of “Kanden” is breezy. The highlight of the movie will be a song shot at the famous Tanjore Big Temple (Periya Kovil). The last movie that featured the ‘Thanjai Periya Kovil’ was “Dum Dum Dum”.
The crew of ‘Kanden’ has got the permission to shoot after a big battle since shooting has not been allowed in that temple these days.
