'Kollaikaran', Directed by Thamizh Selvan, a former associate of Seenu Ramaswamy, 'the movie speaks about a youth who indulges in petty crime and goes unpunished. It eventually emboldens him to do acts that cause flutter in society'. Vidharth is tailor-made for the role. He has given his best.

Vidharth, who has been playing roles in a series of films with similar themes, essays the role of a guy who commits petty crimes. But one day, when he realises his erroneous ways, his past catches up with him, leading to the twist in the story.

Major portion of the movie was shot in Kumbakonam and its adjoining areas. A commercial cocktail, it has humor and romance, Thamizh Selvan says and adds, 'it is a realistic portrayal of human lives in villages'.
