Dhanush’s cousin Varun has become an actor, with a film titled ‘Mallukattu’. Happy and at the same time thrilled about his turning an actor, Varun says, “t is my pleasure to make a debut in cinema. I have worked with Selvaraghavan as his assistant and saw Dhanush performing at close quarters.”

‘Mallukattu’ is a story of a youth, who strives hard to come up in his life. He faces many challenges and how he overcomes them forms the crux. In between, he also has a love affair and everything has been told interestingly, sources say.

Varun was keen to mark his presence felt in films since his childhood and this zeal of him made him to work as an assistant director to Selvaraghavan. After undergoing training in acting and dancing skills, he chose to make his entry as an actor.
