Known to all by now that the movie Narthaki, is the latest project of Malaysian RJ Punnagai Poo Geetha. Pattiyal and Arindhum Ariyamalum were her earlier ventutures. Well the movie directed by Vijayapadma, is all about the life of a transgender. According to latest news, all is set for the movie to get dubbed in Russian and German too. If sources are to be trusted, Vijayapadma is planning to make the movie in Hindi too starring Konkona Sen Sharma in the lead.

Notably apart from producing, Geetha has also acted in this film. Kalki Subramanian and Vivin are in the other lead roles. G.V. Prakash has composed the music. The trailer of Narthaki clearly shows that the story dealt with is entirely different. Something which has never been filmed until now. The film stars Kalki, a transgender, and is about the life of the transgender in society. Not only they are pushed back in our society. Even the film produced about them itself got into trouble with the Censor Board as it was awarded an Adults Only certification. The movie director G Vijaya Padma says that all is set to release the film by March 25th, 2011.
